McRun is the official app version of the well-known McMillan Running Calculator. Created by internationally recognized coach Greg McMillan, this calculator allows you to compute your running potential across different distances. You only need to input your best time from one distance and McRun does the rest. The app will tell you how fast you are capable of running from 100 yards to 100 miles. It also suggests optimal training paces based on both your fitness level and the type of runner you are.

McRun is a great way to target and train for peak performance.

This app is about information and easy to use times when paired up with a McMillan running program. I use the program though Strava premium and the works great to know my pace ranges.
Ive been using this app since 2011 to calculate my training paces. Im a huge fan! From 4:48 to 3:02(BQ)
Please add 600m distance to speed paces Add vLT and vVO2 which are also showed on web version
Easy interface. Very quick/helpful support team. Simply a good calculator.
Now the app is worth the money. It has the training paces for various workouts just like the web. Well done!!!
This calculator is amazing. It correctly predicted my half marathon time after entering my marathon data and gives me workout paces for training.

Some bad moments

I was disappointed in this app, so much so that Im writing my first ever app review. The online McMillan pace calculator gives you a lot more options for entering the distance you want to base your race estimates on, in addition it provides not only total estimated race time, but also pacing in km and miles. This is a pretty basic app for the $2.99 theyre charging for it.
Easy to use, pretty good estimate and the workout suggestions are helpful too
This app NEEDS a description of each workout. Without it there is no way to know how long one needs to run specific workouts, or what their target heart rate should be. Add this and its a five-star app. Thanks.
Excludes goal data therefore no comparison stats or training paces for current vs goal times. Only option available is current results.
I want a refund. It crashes before I ever get the chance to use it. What a waste of money!!!!
This is a great app. Ive used it for ~2 yrs and by entering your projected race pace you get proper workout paces. Everything from long runs to easy runs to 400m repeats. Ive found that the paces are consistent with other apps, online calculators and programs/magazines...but in one easy location. I recommend this app to anybody training for a half marathon or marathon who wants to incorporate proper speed workouts and appropriate intensity to their runs. It may be silly but I also like the motivational quotes you get when you turn the app sideways.
